A Series of Events That Make a Difference
SASARAworld has been fortunate to be part of something special, a series of events that bring people together, spark fun, and make a difference. Through our “Guessing Game” contest, we've had the opportunity to connect with our community, share our love for crystals, and support a cause close to our hearts: Animal Shelter Agonda. These events have not only been a fun way to engage with crystal enthusiasts (and the competitive folk among us) but also a meaningful way to raise funds for animals in need.
Each event has brought together participants of all ages, with stunning premium-quality crystals from our collection as the prize (not part of the official rules, but most participants received a super-mini adorable real crystal as a token of appreciation for their support). These events have allowed us to connect with our community and raise some much-needed funds for a worthy cause.
Supporting Animal Shelter Agonda
At the heart of this initiative is a simple but powerful mission: to combine our passion for premium-quality crystals with a commitment to giving back to causes that are truly making a difference. With each contest, we’re able to support Animal Shelter Agonda, a dedicated UK registered charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of sick, injured, and mistreated animals in Goa, India.
Animal Shelter Agonda provides vital medical care, food, and shelter for animals in need. They also run essential programs such as a monsoon feeding initiative, a sterilisation program to control the population of stray animals, and much more. Half of the proceeds from each contest directly benefit this incredible organisation, helping them with their crucial work.
The Impact of Giving Back: More Than Just Fundraising
But our efforts don’t stop at fundraising. Our team family members, have volunteered their time at Animal Shelter Agonda, dedicating their Sundays to helping out wherever needed - we've seen firsthand the positive affect they have and how crucial volunteer and donations are to the daily operations.
One of the most rewarding experiences has been fostering kittens, providing them with a safe and loving environment until they're ready to be adopted. These moments have brought us closer to the cause, deepening our understanding of the shelter’s impact and solidifying our commitment to helping animals in need.

"Our aim at Animal Shelter Agonda is to help sick animals and provide medical attention to injured and mistreated animals. In addition, we run a sterilization program to help control the growing population of cats and dogs.
